Meet your instructor
I’ve been teaching math for 13 years, from 6th grade all the way through college algebra. Over the years, I’ve seen how students often rely on memorized formulas and familiar steps, only to freeze when they face a problem that looks even slightly different.
I get it — because I was that student too. Word problems used to feel like a foreign language. If it didn’t look just like the example from class, I had no idea what to do next.
That’s why I created this workshop.
My mission is to help students become critical thinkers and confident problem solvers...not just good memorizers. In a world where technology is doing more and more of the thinking for us, our kids need to learn how to reason through problems, trust their thinking, and know
why their answer makes sense.
This isn’t just about passing the next test. It’s about raising a generation who can think for themselves — and that starts with one powerful skill: problem solving.
